What is DR!VE?

DR!VE is an innovative Mixed Reality application for driver training. It allows driving students to learn vehicle familiarization and basic controls in a virtual environment before getting in a real car.

What hardware is required?

DR!VE works with modern VR headsets like the Meta Quest 3 or Pico 4 Ultra. These devices offer a realistic Mixed Reality experience for optimal learning.

How can I use DR!VE in my driving school?

You can obtain DR!VE through our distribution partner Degener Verlag. The app can be used both in the driving school itself and by students at home. Contact us for individual license models.

Is DR!VE officially recognized?

Yes! Simulators and VR applications are officially recognized for driver training from 2025. DR!VE meets all required standards.

Which vehicles are available?

Currently, the Cupra Seat Leon is available. The VW Golf R will follow shortly. Additional vehicle models from various manufacturers are planned for 2025.

What does DR!VE cost for driving schools?

We offer flexible license models for driving schools of all sizes. Contact us or our partner Degener Verlag for an individual quote.

How do I get access to DR!VE?

DR!VE is provided through your driving school. Ask your instructor if your driving school already offers DR!VE. Alternatively, you can contact us and we'll connect you with driving schools in your area that use DR!VE.

Do I need my own VR hardware?

That depends on your driving school. Many driving schools provide VR headsets. If you want to practice at home, you can also use your own Meta Quest 3 or Pico 4 Ultra headset.

Does DR!VE replace real driving lessons?

No, DR!VE does not replace practical driving lessons. The app optimally prepares you for your first driving lessons by teaching you basic vehicle familiarization in advance. This allows you to use real driving lessons more efficiently.

What do I learn with DR!VE?

You learn all important controls: turn signals, horn, lights, windshield wipers, mirror adjustment, opening hood and fuel cap, seat adjustment, and much more – all in a realistic virtual environment.

Is DR!VE difficult to use?
